My Favourite Things

I wonder why but the kids have got an annoying habit of chewing on strings.
Virtually anything that is string-y.

Bra straps
Shoelaces
Rubber bands
Spagetti straps

I've got countless ribbons and shoelaces destroyed.

I've got countless rubber bands that dissappeared.

And mei mei likes socks. And only socks that are has been worn. Not those fresh from wash.
Talk about having fetish for toes, this girl is has fetish for smelly socks.

Isabelle targets my slippers.

Boy boy goes for carrots and laces, strings. The only cat in the world that I know eats vegetables.

Sassy, is the most timid one, but is the biggest sized of all. Eating and putting on the bulk to protect himself I guess.

But the sweetest thing of all is...

They come for head butts.

Quick updates

August 11 - Gingy was brought to me by Francesca for fostering for a few months. He met with an accident and there were lacerations on his paws and legs that didn't heal properly and had to be brought to the vet, for cleaning and medications. Fortunately for him, the wound healed well and the vet didn't have to amputate his paws. In fact, the fur grew back well.

Doesn't like ear cleaning and nail clipping, and have to hold on to him very firmly to be able to groom him.

Likes to follow my mum around for attention, and when he doesn't get the attention, he rubs his body against her legs, then nips her leg. ;3





A couple of mess later, playing in his own litter tray..

October 30 - Gained a couple of grams, and mischief, and a new owner. Once again, I have to say my good-byes to my foster-ed.

Isabelle's as posy as ever.

With them around, my house is so much cleaner on the contrary to popular beliefs.

Breed : Domestic Shorthair

Pengsan is a quiet boy who has a weakness for ‘Patting on his back” He loves to be patted to sleep and jus being patted.

Hes got beautiful big button like eyes. He got a little deformed mouth due to either an injury or being abused.

He’s not a dominant cat but he’s in his own little Pengsan world.



Name : Yenjing (top) & Tasha (bottom)
Breed : Domestic Shorthair
Age : 1-2yrs
Sex : Male ( Castrated ) & Tasha ( Spayed )

These 2 putty cats grew up together as kittens. I hoping for them to be adopted out together preferably. As you can see Yenjing only has 1 eye as such the name. But people please do not be fooled by his handicap coz its not to him. He’s like any other 2 eyed cat. He’s territorial, has a short tempered and doesn’t like to be scruffed. But he’s also affectionate and loves to reach up to you to be carried and scratched at the sides of his face and be patted on his back. Yenjing is very playful!

Tasha is very demure and timid. She doesn’t like to be carried much but if she wants to be cuddled she would ask for it. She’s got a very sweet meow :> and her tail is only a stub like a rabbit.

Moneh is very affectionate and loves sitting on your lap when you’re doing your business, sitting anywhere. He’s constantly meowing for your attention. Moneh is very playful too.

A very sweet tempered boy but can get territorial if threatened of his territory.

This here is such a Beauty not to be overlooked. Her mom is Italian ! Sofia is an affectionate girl. She has a very cute & weird meow. She loves to be cuddled gently not squeezed tight ok.

Her temperament is docile and dainty. What you expect from an Italian putty cat :>

March baby has been sent to Mt Pleasant Katong for adoption...really miss him so much..

wonder if he's good.

There's 2 few weeks old kittens tts going to be fostered at my place soon.

Ah......here comes the 3 hrly feeding routine for the sake of the kittens.

and the 3 hourly sleep for me....(read: black eye rings)

boy boy talks to me, and looked at me eye to eye..

he says....dun keep using the computer and chat..carry me sayang me..

and he gave me lots of head butts when i did so.

This is the sense of love, fulfilment and happiness that I get from my kids.

Love me, love my kids.

No!!!!!

March baby gave me a heart attack...

He went into the hamster's box and decide to take it out n play with it...with his teeth!!!

Hamster let out a loud squeal and immediately I saw what March had done - catching it with his teeth!

Something that not even the 4 big kits at home dare to do!

Flashback: Tom singled out a hamster from a box of hamsters and bite it so hard that it died. My dear friend thought that it's a very cute toy.

I thought that this hamster would die in my care - it's an adopted hamster coz my neighbour's kids decide that it's too smelly to them..

Thank God that other than suffering a small puncture wound at it's armpit and slight bleeding, and quite a far bit of shock, it seems ok.

Will have to monitor the hammy..

By the way, March is ready to be adopted.
